Ducab - Abu Dhabi
Ducab, one of the Middle East’s largest electrical cable manufactures has commenced replacing the old rotating ventilation units with the new Advanced Technology Hurricane® Plus static ventilation unit at the cable manufacturing plant in Abu Dhabi. The previous units were installed 8 years ago and being the innovative company that Ducab is; they looked into newer and more advanced technology hence deciding to purchase still units from Hurricane® Plus.
Hurricane® Plus with its strong aluminium structure and static design not only provides a more robust structure but increases the ventilation performance by up to 15%. Ducab joins the ever growing list of clients who are now replacing their old units with Hurricane® Plus, the world’s most advanced roof mounted ventilator.

Dubal - Dubai
They are installed in their main store area in Dubai to reduce the heat and humidity. After careful evaluation of the Hurricane® Plus performance, they recognised the superiority of the technology. Previously we had fitted Hurricane® Plus units in the Transformer Bays, and tests were then carried out during the summer period. These tests demonstrated the improved functioning of the new units.

Masdar/ADNOC
A joint venture between Masdar and ADNOC, developing a new Carbon Capture Plant in Abu Dhabi. It utilises flue gases taken from the adjacent Emirates Steel Industries factory. Hurricane® Plus ventilators have been installed to provide natural ventilation for the vital compressor units. As these units create significant heat, the ventilation is critical. The wind driven ventilators provided by green Energy Solutions were chosen after thorough evaluation by the Engineers from the joint venture.

Grand Mills LLC - Abu Dhabi
They originally installed small rotating ventilators, but the performance was not sufficient and there were water leakages. Abu Dhabi Food Corporation instructed them to improve their storage ventilation. After researching the market, they installed Hurricane® Plus units as replacements. The internal conditions have vastly improved, with reduced heat and humidity, and they have now achieved the Food Corporation requirements.

Citiliner - Dubai
Hurricane® Plus ventilators are also very suitable for companies working in small warehouse/factory units, who need to reduce the heat/humidity/smoke/fumes. Citiliner are a small/medium company working out of some terraced warehouses in Al Quoz Industrial Zone. They initially installed a single Hurricane® Plus in one of these units, and were delighted with the result. They have since installed 3 more.
"The change has been amazing. Before we installed these natural ventilators it was hot, smoky, dusty and humid. Since then the employees are far happier with the working conditions, are more comfortable, and productivity has improved"
- Jamil Khatib, Citiliner

GSSI - Oman
They produce galvanized steel wire in their large factory facility. High temperatures were causing a major damaging effect on production. In conjunction, dust and steam in the air was needing to be addressed. They had existing electric driven force draught fans in the roof, but they were very high, difficult and expensive to maintain. The installation of maintenance free Hurricane® Plus ventilators has been a very successful solution.
"That they have been very beneficial is proven by the request from operators in other sections to have them installed"
- Frank Hinds, GM Operations

Al Tajir Glass Industries - Dubai
Previously installing rotating ventilators, the efficiency of these ventilators was low since the operation is mainly dependent on the wind flow, and there was continuous maintenance due to bearings failure caused by the heat and sand prevalent in this region. After extensive study, it was decided to fit Hurricane® Plus.
"With this new technology, we are highly delighted with the results. They are better than the previous Hurricane units, and we expect a long maintenance and trouble free operation of these new ventilators"

Danzas - Dubai
Danzas AEI Emirates LLC (a joint venture between Al Tayer Group and DHL; subsidiary of Deutsche Post DHL, world leading provider of logistics and communication services) is the foremost logistics provider in the UAE, with state-of-the-art facilities across Dubai and Sharjah.
They needed temperature control for some of the products stored in their warehouse facility. They had a purpose built warehouse constructed. Instead of the usual rotary type units, they saw a demonstration of the superior performance and advantages of the newly designed Hurricane® Plus units, and they have been installed in the new warehouse.

Worldwide Oilfield Machine - Dubai
WOM ME has already expanded its facilities to add local machining capabilities, and is currently undergoing further expansions to increase the total size of the complex to over 3 acres. It builds parts for the oil industry. After researching various ventilation units, the brand new facility has installed Green Energy Solutions Hurricane® Plus Natural ventilators, as they are ideal for the Middle East conditions.
"I am very impressed by the quality and engineering of the product, and in particular the performance"
- Roland Landskroner, Design Consultant, Jaros.ae

OCTAL - Oman
Established in 2006 to meet the accelerating demand for PET sheet and PET resin, OCTAL has emerged as the largest PET resin manufacturer in the Middle East and the largest integrated PET sheet manufacturer in the world.
The ventilated premises was originally air conditioned, but it was not suitable and they had problems with humidity and irritants in the manufacturing area.
Barrie Harmsworth, a ventilation expert at Green Energy Solutions, designed a ventilation system that utilizes filtered inlet air and is matched with Hurricane® Plus Wind Ventilators units mounted in the roof to extract the hot, humid, dusty air out through the roof space.
